sweet sleep...

This last week I bought this Canopy high loft mattress pad at walmart for our bed. Oh. My. Goodness. It is AWESOME! I seriously never want to get out of my bed. I bought it because I've been wanting a down pillow top mattress pad...but they're expensive and I just have a hard time justifying spending that much money on something for my bed when my kids grow out of clothes and shoes left and right. Seriously. Anyway, I thought I would let you know so that for $40 you can all run out to your local walmart and buy the best sleep you'll ever get!

Phoenix woke up bright and early this morning at 4:30am. I have the most awesome husband in the whole world. He got up and rocked Phoenix and when P. still wouldn't go back to sleep he eventually put him back in his bed and let him fuss. Phoenix cried from about 5:00 to 5:30 am when he figured out how to climb out of his crib. He showed up by the side of our bed "Climb out. Crib. Climb out. Crib." He was so proud of himself. The amazing thing is that he shares a room with Zadie and didn't wake her up with all his fussing. Needless to say, he's been a basket case all morning. I'm considering putting him down for his nap already and it's not even 9am. I'm also not so happy that he's figured out how to get out of his crib. Maybe it's a fluke. Hey...I can hope!

I've been feeling sorry for Vino lately. The poor dog loves us to pieces...but it's been so cold and wet outside lately that we haven't really gotten out to play with him. He does get to come inside sometimes, but he's so big and hyper (he's still a puppy) that he tends knock people over (mostly the kids). But today it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees so I'm thinking that we can spend a good long time outside playing with him.

My church is doing something called My Fellowship Journal. Every morning they post some scripture on their website and encourage all of us to read it. Then one of the pastors posts their thoughts on the passage. I have been reading it every morning and I like knowing that I'm reading and meditating on the same things as my church family. If you want to check it out the website is http://www.myfellowshipjournal.com

Ok, that's about it for now...I hope you all have a great Wednesday!
